To My Followers

I look at the number 170 and am amazed, astonished that one-hundred and seventy of you are reading Brainstorms. I know that many bloggers have readerships well into the thousands, but for me, 170 seems like so many people.

I do not take for granted that someone follows me. I always wonder whether epilepsy is present in your life or in the life of someone dear to you. I wonder whether you are reading for my poetry. I check out your blogs for more information about you.

I hope, as I regularly say when welcoming someone new, that you are finding something personally meaningful in Brainstorms, whether it’s a shared journey through epilepsy, an interest in poetry, or just following for whatever reason.

Please know how much I appreciate your presence here, your comments, your re-blogs, your decision in the first place to follow. I mean it with all sincerity when I say, “I am glad you’re here.”

Thank you.

    • This means a lot to me, Marnie. Thank you. BTW, I lent The Blue Virgin and The Green Remains to a writer friend and she enjoyed both very much.
