So today, at the doctor’s, I got a double whammy. He told me I’m still contagious with this flu. Our grandson’s 15th birthday party is Friday, and the doctor said, “And you won’t be there.”
“You don’t want to give everyone at the party what you have, do you?”
Of course not. And it’s not that I feel like doing anything, anyhow. Today, just to shower and get dressed to go to the doctor wiped me out. The cough is getting worse and I’m tired beyond belief.
The doctor must have said it at least three times: “You’re staying quarantined, aren’t you?”
Oh yeah. I cancelled my piano student on Tuesday, won’t be going to B’s birthday party Friday, and am also cancelling our dinner out on Saturday with friends. I am getting tired of being home, but don’t have the energy to go anywhere or do anything.
I cannot wait for this to be over.

I had it over the holidays – it sucks – large.

You will be tired for quite a while but when you come out of it you will feel like you were just granted another life (I did)
