Just five and twenty days until I drive
again. I count them like those sheep at night.
Soon driving limitation will take flight
and at your house I can’t wait to arrive.
This epilepsy tells me I can’t move
around post-seizure. In my state the law
dictates that doing so is quite a flaw
until I’ve spent six months within the groove
of having others drive me here and there.
But soon this prison time will end and then
you’ll see me free and driving once again.
I cannot wait for freshened autumn air.
